An introductory program on beekeeping, honey production and marketing was held on 01.02.2022 for the farmers in the Elur village under Kinnathukadavu Union. The event was attended by 42 farmers of the nearby villages. Mr. Vivekanandan (Member of the National Beekeeping Board) commented on the importance of honey bees in the ecosystem balance and agricultural production. He also guided the farmers in various techniques to be followed for commercial honey bee rearing.
