The determination factor whether a society is strong and harmonious or otherwise, is the role of women in it. Thus, Jaihind Foundation works on making women self sufficient and self sustained. Perur Vadivelampalayam Grama Samathi confederated 16 women in the village together in the name of Government approved Food Security Group in which they have started the production of pure organic sweets and confectioneries. In addition to this they also undertake catering orders for temple and marriage functions as their business expansion. This small effort has greatly helped village women to be financially independent and sorting out their family needs.
